Purpose of Position

 

Under the direction of a Creative Director, the Product Designer must create and develop authentic designs that meet specifications to provide high-quality work. A keen eye for detail and creativity are essential features to successfully deliver excellence to our customers. Your top priority will be to create meaningful and thoughtful designs that embody the vision of our brand as well as meet the needs of our clients.

Tasks and Responsibilities

​

• Identifying project specifications and ideas

• Use the latest methods and software to create sketches, prototypes, final models

• Make independent design decisions

• Propose original concepts

• Gather feedback to make improvements

• Report to the Creative Director

Education

​

• Bachelor’s degree in Product/ Industrial Design is assumed.

• Master´s degree in Product/ Industrial Design would be desirable.

​

Certificates and Licenses

​

Years of Experience

2(+) years of working experience in the field of product design would be desired.

• Expertise with 3-D render & design software applications (i.e. Solidworks, Sketch Up, Figma)

• Proficiency in Adobe CC, AutoDesk

• Mastery of design principles (i.e. prototyping, user-journey, dieter rahms 10 principles)

• Teamwork skills

• Multitasking and time management skills

• Comprehension of visual components (layout, type, form and fonts)

• Fluent in written and spoken German & English
